Q: How do I play Sudoku?
A: Fill the 9×9 grid so that each row, column, and 3×3 box contains the numbers 1-9 without repetition. Tap an empty cell, then tap a number from the number pad to place it. Use the tutorial in Settings for a complete guide.

A: Sudoku Prime offers four difficulty levels:
Q: How do Notes work?
A: Tap the Notes button (pencil icon) to enable Notes mode. Then tap a cell and select multiple numbers to mark possibilities. Notes appear as small numbers in the cell. Tap the Notes button again to return to normal mode.
Q: What is the 3-mistake rule?
A: You can make up to 3 mistakes per game. The mistake counter (❌ X/3) shows your progress. On the 3rd mistake, the game ends with a Game Over screen. You can then restart the same puzzle or return to the menu.
Q: How do Hints work?
A: Hints provide the next logical move with an explanation. You get 1 free hint per day. Additional hints can be purchased:
Q: What is the Daily Challenge?
A: A new puzzle every day that's the same for all players worldwide. Complete it to build your daily streak! Streaks are tracked in Statistics.
Q: How do I restore my purchases?
A: Go to Settings → Purchases → Restore Purchases. This will restore any non-consumable purchases (Unlimited Hints). Note: Consumable hints (3-pack and 10-pack) cannot be restored as per App Store policy.
Q: Can I pause the game?
A: Yes! Tap the pause button next to the timer. The game also auto-pauses when you exit the app. Tap Resume to continue.
Q: How do I resume a saved game?
A: If you have an unfinished game, tap "Resume Game" on the main menu. The app automatically saves your progress.
Q: Does the app work offline?
A: Yes! Sudoku Prime works completely offline. All puzzles are generated on your device. No internet connection required.
Q: Are there ads?
A: No! Sudoku Prime - No Ads is completely ad-free. Enjoy uninterrupted gameplay with no distractions.
Q: Can I change the theme?
A: Yes! Go to Settings → Appearance → Color Theme. Choose from Classic Blue, Dark Pro, or Colorful themes.
Q: How do I turn off sound or haptics?
A: During gameplay, tap the menu button (three dots) in the top right → toggle Sound or Haptic. You can also adjust these in Settings.
Q: Where are my statistics stored?
A: All statistics are stored locally on your device. They are never uploaded to any server. If you uninstall the app, your statistics will be lost.
Q: Can I request a refund?
A: All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. To request a refund, visit Apple's refund support page or contact Apple Support directly.
